Deb's RV Travels

Archives

At the end of January, I departed Portal, AZ and headed to Tucson. I had a long list of things I needed to do in the city – shopping, haircut, laundry, etc. I also did a couple hikes in Saguaro National Park. Saguaro NP is a real treasure right at the edge of the city with some beautiful hiking trails.

January 12 to January 30 Yuma On Saturday, January 12, I leave Kofa NWR and return to Yuma. Actually, I camp in Winterhaven, CA, just across the AZ state line. The Colorado River is the boundary between Arizona and California in this area. I return to Ogilby Road where I camped last year. I need to do some things in Yuma.

January 29 to February 10   I’m running low on staple grocery items, so Monday morning I hitch up and head for Yuma.  Yuma has a resident population of close to 100,000.  It has a nice selection of stores, restaurants, etc. When the winter snowbirds arrive, there are about 300,000 people in the area.
