January 30 to February 5 Monday morning I leave Saddle Mountain BLM to drive south to Organ Pipe Cactus NM. My friends Cindy and Scott, who I met at Kofa last year and also camped with at Quartzsite, were going there to meet up with a jeeping group they are part of. I was planning to go there also, so we arranged to camp together.
Monday, March 5 to Wednesday, March 7 I stayed around Ajo a while longer hoping that the little bit of rainfall in the area might result in some flowers blooming in the desert. Monday morning I drive 35 miles south to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.
February 10, Saturday This morning I get on the road at 10am PT, but since I’m heading east, after about 10 miles I enter mountain time zone, and promptly lose an hour. 😦 There are a couple things I need to pick up at Fry’s so I exit at Fortuna Road.
